Kenneth Eugene Huggins, Jr., “Gene”, born in Stuart , Florida on September 18, 1955, passed away surrounded by family on September 30, 2017. Gene spent his adult life in Stuart, Florida and Hobe Sound, Florida. Gene owned a bait and tackle store in Port Salerno, Florida. He built custom fishing rods and repaired reels for many years. Gene loved to hunt and fish. He spent several years in Alaska as well.

Gene is survived by his daughter Melani of Charleston, South Carolina, his sister Sharon Hamill (Monty), his brother Michael (Stacy), his father Kenneth SR, his step mother Edie, his nephews Michael Paul, Crawford, his niece Alyssa and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Helen Tuthill and her husband Palmer. Gene will be always remembered in our hearts.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 10th at 2:30 pm at Hope Hospice House, Chapel at 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral, FL.
