Michael Edward Krob, 58 of North Ft. Myers died December 9, 2017 in Gulf Coast hospital following a recent surgery. Mike was born on July 28, 1959 in Moline IL. He was the son of Joseph & Betty (Brown) Krob. Mike is survived by the love of his life Beth Moulder, brothers Duane (Mydge), Kevin (Sherri), and sister Michelle Lenz (Donnie Miller), numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, all of Iowa. Niece Missy, nephews Joe (Becky), Terry & Kendall were especially close to Mike. Everyone being nearly the same age, he grew up with them more like siblings than an uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents. In Mike's younger years he enjoyed swimming, biking & boating. He loved music, was a lifelong cubs fan and shared an enthusiastic passion for Iowa Hawkeye football with his very special cousin, Arlieta. Mike looked forward to his visits to the family farm in Iowa, where he always had a home with his 'lil sis' Michelle. He was quick to remind all his family that Florida was a great place to vacation and there would always be room for them. People mattered the most to Mike. He had a heart of gold and was a shining example of how to love and care about others. As a registered organ donor Mike was able to give the gift of sight to someone else. He was a kind, patient and strong person who was easy to talk with and a great listener. A man who knew the true meaning of friendship and the value of being a good friend. He loved his family with all his heart and his friends were like family to him.
Mike had a way of making you feel special about yourself. He will be missed more than words can say.
